DAY TRIPS

They will also help you with free leaflets (some in English).

This is what guests wrote about some of their trips:

House of 1000 Clocks, Triberg:
The Weisser family have been working around the clock for 5 generations. We made several visits to our favourite shop and were made to feel like old friends from the beginning. There were over 200 clocks to choose from. We decided to buy our own individual clock. So we chose all the components, the wood cabinet, face, weights, pendulum etc. It now hangs proudly on our lounge wall, cuckooing the hour, playing different tunes and on the hour, ...

Railway trip from St. Georgen to Gengenbach:
What a great sightseeing trip! 63 km through 37 short tunnels with a total descent of 634 meters. This track is an amazing feat of engineering as it winds and twists back on itself down and often through the mountains. every time we emgerged from a tunnel we viewed even more picturesque scenes of houses nestling in small tree-covered valleys.

Gengenbach: it is difficult to believe that this wonderful old town is real, with its impressively maintained houses with courtyards festooned with flowers and grapevines.  Gateways and towers  of the old medieval wall and beautiful timber framed houses are under official preservation order. And they are no museum, they are inhabited.

We wish you a nice an unforgettable holiday on your BLACK FOREST FARM
